Students should be prepared to secure their equipment properly before they board the school bus to ensure it does not interfere with the safety of the driver and passengers or the safe, expedient evacuation of the vehicle. Certain materials and objects are prohibited on a school purpose vehicle as they could become a projectile on a bus.
The decision to cancel transportation services and/or close schools due to inclement weather, is communicated to parents beginning at 6:30 a.m. primarily through the media. Review our ‘How do I Stay Informed’ page for media outlets and supplementary communication methods.

International Walk to School Month (IWALK) is an annual mass celebration of active transportation taking place around the world every October. Hundreds of Ontario schools participate in IWALK each year, with many holding their events on IWALK Day, the first Wednesday of October.
How to retrieve student transportation schedules: Click on the above Student Transportation menu, select Student Transportation Schedules. You will need your child’s 9 digit Ontario Education Number (OEN) to view the transportation details for your child.
No OEN?: If your child is eligible for transportation, and does not have an OEN, you will receive a letter in the mail the week of August 19th, outlining their transportation schedule.

Due to the early school dismissal on June 28, 2019 for the Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) and Halton District School Board (HDSB) students, afternoon drop off times at bus stops will be adjusted accordingly by 90 minutes.
